The Green River (near Pinedale, WY) has cleared early and preliminary
reports tell us the fishing has been quite good. Use streamers and large
attractors if there is no hatch to match, which is likely to be the case
for the next several weeks.
The Green below Fontenelle Reservoir has also cleared up and has seen
spotty, but good, fishing when the Blue Wing Olives and/or midges are
hatching. Search for microhabitats where pods of trout are rising. Use
Griffith's Gnats where you see clustering midges.
