       7/9/10 - Update

Howdy from Jackson Hole!  After much anticipation fishing season is in full swing here in the valley.  Runoff is waning and temperatures are gently climbing.  All of the major tributaries, including the Gros Ventre and Hoback Rivers are clearing and providing excellent fishing.  The Snake River is clearing more and more each day; driving over the Wilson Bridge this morning we were able to see bottom on the side channels.  We’ve begun running trips in the Pinedale area and we anticipate starting to guide anglers on the Snake very soon.  Spaces on guided trips are filling up fast-give us a call at the shop for up to date information on local conditions.

6/25/10 - Update

It's been a week since our last update, and the good news is that all of our local rivers are dropping and beginning to clear - some more than others. We are still at least a few weeks from the Snake being clear enough to fish, but the Green river is quickly approaching fish-able levels - we expect it to be in approaching prime fishing conditions within the week. Stay tuned - we'll be posting a more in-depth report on the Green soon! If you are interested in a guided trip on the Green with us, give the shop a call soon - dates are starting to fill up.
